ASX Reporting Seasons/Year
How ASX Reporting Works: Unlike the US which reports quarterly, ASX companies report results twice a year. The February season covers full-year results (FY ending June 30) and the August season covers half-year results (HY ending December 31). Companies have 2 months after period end to lodge results with the ASX.
August Season
August Reporting Season
August 1 – August 31 each year
Half-year results (HY1) for the 6 months ending December 31. Most ASX 200 companies report their interim results. Watch for dividend announcements, guidance updates, and capital management news.
February Season
February Reporting Season
February 1 – February 28 each year
Full-year results (FY) for the 12 months ending June 30. The most important reporting period — final dividends, full-year earnings, and forward guidance all released. Often accompanied by AGMs.

AGM Season — October to December
AGMs (Annual General Meetings) are typically held October–December, following the release of full-year results. Key events: CEO presentations, dividend reinvestment plan (DRP) pricing, shareholder resolutions, and management Q&A. AGMs often move share prices — watch for guidance updates and capital management announcements.
